REFUNDS
if a program is cancelled, you will receive a full refund. If you withdraw from a class two week prior to the start of the program, you will receive 80% of a refund (the town incurs a processing fee for all credit card transactions). There are no refunds after the program begins, UNLESS your spot can be filled by someone on the waitlist. Refunds will be processed immediately upon request and will take 3-4 weeks to get a check mailed from the town.
PHOTO POLICY
The Recreation Department reserves the right to photograph program participants for publicity purposes. Smile, you just might end up on the cover of our next program guide or our Facebook page!
PARTICIPANT CODE OF CONDUCT
EQUAL ACCESS: No participants shall, on the basis of race, sex, creed, national origin or disability, be denied access to programs, activities, services or benefits or be limited in the exercise of any right, privilege, advantage or opportunity.
BEHAVIOR: Participants are expected to exhibit appropriate behavior at all times. The following guidelines have been developed to make the Recreation Department programs safe and enjoyable for all participants. Additional rules may be developed for particular programs as deemed necessary by staff:
Participants shall:
Show respect to all participants, volunteers and staff
Refrain from using foul language
Refrain from causing bodily harm to other participants, volunteers and staff
Show respect for equipment, supplies, and facilities
DISCIPLINE: A positive approach will be used. The Norwood Recreation Department reserves the right to dismiss a participant. Each situation will be evaluated on its own merit.
