As it would be expected, this program curriculum will consist of Police and Public Safety related topics. There will be demonstrations by our detectives and patroldivisions along with hands on activities (fingerprinting, crime scene investigations, and weather permitting State Police Airwing, and a K-9 Unit). There will be tours of the Police Facilities (cell block area, communications, roll call, firing range, etc...). Students will have the opportunity to try on and hold equipment and gear that is used by today’s Police Officers. There will be an additional waiver and release for liability form that must be signed prior to the start of the camp. The students will agree to abide by rules and regulations laid
out by the Norwood Police Dept. On some days, participants will attend field trips.
Note: this is for NEW participants only! Participants are limited to one session per summer!
